Join us for this lifechanging, charitable round of golf supporting Scott/Bourbon Counties Habitat for Humanity!
We are thrilled to invite you to participate in our 2024 Golf Tournament Fundraiser! Grab your clubs and bring a winning desire to make a positive difference in Scott and Bourbon Counties, through the power of affordable homeownership.
1 in 9 households in Kentucky spend more than half of their income on housing and Habitat, with your direct support, wants to help change that! This extremely high-cost burden negatively impacts families not only financially, but mentally, physically, emotionally, and academically as well (especially for children).
Every swing at this golf tournament fundraiser is an incredible opportunity for a Habitat family on their way to safe, secure, and affordable housing! Our program offers a unique homeownership opportunity in the form of a hand-up, not a hand-out. Habitat families commit to 250+ hours of sweat equity on the build site and through financial literacy classes. Once a new Habitat Home is complete, families pay an affordable mortgage which further allows them to put money back into the local economy, save for future expenditures, and build upon their own version of the great American dream!
All proceeds from this tournament support our home-building programs in both Scott and Bourbon Counties.
