We invite you to join us as we work alongside our future homeowners on their journey towards homeownership.
There are many ways for you to get involved as a volunteer with Habitat in either Scott or Bourbon counties.

Construction/Build Site Opportunities
If you are interested in volunteering as an individual, or in bringing a group of your family or friends to our construction site we want to hear from you! Previous construction experience is NOT required, though it is welcome!
We can generally accommodate groups ranging in size from 4 up to around 15 people – depending on what phase of construction we are in with our current build.
Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Minors who are age 16 or 17 must have a signed parental/guardian consent form to participate and must also be accompanied by their parent or guardian on the construction site at all times.

Special Events Opportunities
Do you have an idea for a special event that could assist Scott/Bourbon Counties Habitat in fundraising for our next home construction? We are always looking for ideas to partner with local businesses, churches, schools, and other groups in our area so that we may better engage our communities and spread the word about Habitat’s vision.
If your business, church, etc. would like to help us with a community event to promote awareness and fundraise for our mission we would love to hear from you! Committee Member Volunteer Opportunities
Scott/Bourbon Counties Habitat for Humanity relies on several committees in order to successfully operate and implement all aspects of our vision. We can use volunteers, at times, to serve on various committees that guide us in subjects such as partner family selection/approval, site selection, and fundraising.
It is recommended that new volunteers serve in another capacity such as helping on our construction site or assisting in a special event before joining one of these committees.
